Data Centres

Addelec has been involved in the construction, testing & commissioning, and maintenance of high voltage service of data centres in the Sydney areas and ACT.

Including installation commissioning and testing of switchgear, installation and termination of high voltage cables, setting and testing of protection relays and provision of authorised high voltage switching teams to ensure all strict processes are compliant.

Education

Addelec manages the HV maintenance contract for Western Sydney University and their 11 campuses, implemented substation improvement works for both University NSW Sydney and Macquarie University.

Substations

As an authorised level, 1 and 2 provider Addelec have managed the HV implementation for Endeavour Energy at the new South Marsden Park zone sub-station and commissioned the new Oran Park zone sub-station. Addelec is also on the Endeavour Energy panel for substation earthing, the latest works completed at Marayong Zone substation South Windsor.

Utilities

Working in the utility sector has been the backbone of Addelec's maintenance and project work over the last 14 years with full authorisation for HV works including switching across the Sydney Water network. High and low voltage works also include Snowy Hydro, Water NSW assets, Sydney desalination plant, and Blayney and Crookwell Windfarms.

Our business has established HV power generation at multiple Telstra & Optus sites across Greater Sydney.

Mines / Power Stations

Addelec have performed maintenance, and above, ground high voltage installation works at numerous mines including Cadia Gold Mine, Simec Mining Tahmoor, South 32, Wollongong Coal, Wallarawang Power Station, Sada mines, Mugga Lane Power Station, Berrima, and Cobar Gold mines

Industrial

Over the years, Addelec has installed and maintained a variety of private high and low voltage assets. Industrial clients include ABB, Siemens, Allied Mills, Goodman Property Services, Sydney Steel Mill, Caltex, Austral Bricks, Suez Recycling, Lynwood Quarry, Schneider, Kimberly Clark, Tip Top Bakeries and James Hardie.

Rail Networks

Projects undertaken by Addelec include commissioning of the Sydney Light rail, maintenance on kiosks across the Sydney Trains network, HV cable terminations on the North West Rail Link.

Road

Addelec has undertaken both installation and maintenance works including bus duct, HV cables, switchboards, substations, and cable joining on Lane Cove Tunnel, Westconnex M5, and M4 projects. Also, Addelec regularly conducts design works for Roads and Maritime Services.
